Biography
I was born in Kodiak, Alaska. My dad was a Navy Pilot, so we lived in many different states, and even in Morocco. When I was ten years old, he retired from the Navy and I spent the rest of my childhood in Pensacola, Florida. I attended the University of Alabama majoring in Business Administration and I still enjoy watching Tide Roll. After college I moved to Orlando, where I have remained ever since. I married my wonderful husband, Doug, and together we have raised two beautiful children, Douglas, Jr. and Laura.
I began my career working for a small CPA firm as an Executive Assistant, and then moved to a Commercial Real Estate Mortgage company, where I was the Office Manager. I then lateralled over to an IME scheduling company.
Once my son and daughter were born, I “retired” to stay at home and raise them. I was very active in their elementary school as a PTA board member, and as a Dividend in the classroom. I was also very involved with their afterschool activities and various sports.
Once my children went off to college, I returned to the workforce to fill the void. I worked as an Executive Assistant for a Real Estate developer for a few years, and then found my perfect job with The Law Office of Mary Beth Kelly, LLC, as a Legal Assistant and then promoted to Paralegal. I assist Mrs. Kelly with Estate Planning documents and Trust funding.
