A Caring Team
Devoted To Helping Families

I am Mary Beth Kelly, an experienced estate planning, guardianship, probate and elder law attorney in Lake Mary. I founded my law firm to provide counsel, advice and legal representation that helps people of all ages protect their families’ futures, safeguard their assets and clarify the legal process after the deaths of loved ones.

I, along with my professional legal staff, welcome the opportunity to help you make a will, create a trust, be named health care surrogate for your children as they turn 18, handle the probate process after the death of a loved one, prepare a power of attorney, establish a living will, protect your assets, plan for the financial future of a special needs child, and/or help you or a loved one plan and/or apply for Medicaid.

Compassionate, Knowledgeable Counsel And Advice

Many people put off estate planning because preparing for their potential incapacity and end-of-life arrangements can be a sensitive topic. I understand how difficult these conversations can be. The bottom line is that everyone over the age of 18 should have some type of estate planning documents drawn up to protect their choices.

Sometimes, people fail to realize the importance of this planning until they are facing the necessity of establishing guardianships for their loved ones or are involved in complex probate processes. In addition to estate planning, I can help you with long-term care or Medicaid questions, as well as probate and guardianship guidance.

I have helped my clients through many unique and sensitive situations, from those requiring the simplest estate plans to highly complex ones that included several types of specialized trusts. Your family’s needs are unique, too. I am here to ensure that your future planning needs will be addressed at your comfort level.

“How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these.”

Why Choose The Law Office of Mary Beth Kelly, LLC?

I worked as a legal assistant for two decades before becoming the attorney I am today. My legal career began at the age of 18 as a legal secretary. After my children graduated from high school and were both in college, my life changed and it was then that I decided to go to law school. Although I had not initially set out to become an estate planning and elder law attorney, personal circumstances shifted my career path in that direction. The pivotal moment came while I was assisting my mother in caring for my father, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s. This life experience profoundly influenced my decision to focus my law career on helping others through experiences of which I had first-hand knowledge.

Drawing from my multifaceted life and years of legal experience, I am intensely passionate to assist others with the utmost sensitivity no matter if my clients are planning for the future, protecting assets, caring for aging parents, or grieving the loss of a loved one.
